STANLAX :

FINITE ELEMENTS SOFTWARE DEDICATED TO THIN SHELL ANALYSIS

After 20 years of uninterrupted research, the "C.E.A. de SACLAY" (leaded by professor Alain COMBESCURE) and the "INSA de LYON" (leaded by professor Jean François JULLIEN) have developed in partnership the software STANLAX, dedicated to thin shell analysis.

STANLAX is designed for thin shells with an axisymmetric geometry. The Fourier series decomposition allows to study structures with initials geometric imperfections or non axisymmetric loads. The solver can be linear and non linear geometric and/or material. Our software is almost 20 times faster than a traditional 3D model, and allows parametric studies and large models.

EC2-MS develops and markets STANLAX in collaboration with professor Alain COMBESCURE.

By clicking on the download link, you will be able to test the quickness and the accuracy of the STANLAX software. The folder contains a help file, and some basic examples as well. In order to visualize the structure, you need a software capable of reading ".unv" files.
This trying Stanlax version, limits to 30 the number of nodes of the mesh.
