Thanks to actual computing power, and methods improvement, numerical simulation has become more and more indispensable for structure design. Even if structures are becoming each time more elaborated, finite element analysis tends to reduce the experimental validation stage.

Before specializing itself in skills areas (buckling, thermal transfer, foam materials, …), EC2-MS was initially expert in structural mechanics. Thus, in all its projects, approximately 30% uses structural mechanics models only. From a simple linear static calculation, to a highly nonlinear model, including dynamic analysis, EC2-MS team has a background of over 35 year  in numerical models, and is able to reply to a wide range of industrial needs.
